League Managers Hub is powered by Magic Sports, which is also owned by Magic League Ltd.

By using this website, including completing the League Health Check, entering a prize draw, or taking part in an interview or case study, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

2. About League Managers Hub

League Managers Hub provides research, benchmarking, guidance and community resources for people running grassroots, amateur, social, community and commercial sports leagues. It is not a governing body, and does not provide legal, safeguarding, regulatory or sport-specific compliance advice. Any such matters should be directed to the relevant governing body or a qualified professional.

3. The League Health Check

The League Health Check is a free self-assessment tool. It generates a personalised League Operations Score and report based on the answers you provide.

Your results are based entirely on the information you self-report; we don't independently verify your answers.
The Health Check and any report generated from it are provided for general guidance only, and shouldn't be treated as professional, legal or financial advice.
We may use anonymised, aggregated responses from the Health Check to produce industry research and benchmarks, including the League Operations Report. No individual league or organisation will be identified in this published research without separate, explicit permission.

4. Interviews and case studies

If you take part in a League Managers Hub interview, case study or video discussion, we'll ask for your explicit consent before publishing any content, and will explain how it may be used (for example, as an article, video, social content, newsletter content, or as part of our research). Content will be framed constructively, and we won't publish material about your league without your permission.

5. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, all content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, tools, reports and the League Operations Score methodology — belongs to Magic League Ltd or its licensors. You may view and share content for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not reproduce, republish or exploit it commercially without our written permission.

6. Prize Draws

These terms apply to the League Health Check prize draws referenced on this website. They should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how entrants' data is used.

6.1 Promoter The promoter is Magic League Ltd, [Norbrook House Upper Warren Avenue, Caversham, Reading, England, RG4 7EB].

6.2 Eligibility

Open to UK-based grassroots, amateur, social, community and commercial sports leagues.
The person completing the Health Check must:
- be aged 18 or over;
- be currently involved in running or administering the league;
- be responsible for, or directly involved in, its operations or administration;
- complete the Health Check in full.
Only one entry is permitted per league or organisation.
Employees, directors and contractors of Magic League Ltd, and their immediate families, cannot enter.
No purchase is necessary to enter either draw, and entry is free.

6.3 The £500 draw

The draw will take place once at least 100 eligible leagues have completed the League Health Check.
One recipient will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
Closing date 31/12/2026 and full details of how the prize can be used will be confirmed before the closing date, and will be published on this page.

6.4 The £1,000 draw

Open to leagues selected to complete the League Health Check and League Managers Hub video interview.
One recipient will be selected at random from the eligible participating leagues.
Closing date 31/12/2026 and full details of how the prize can be used will be confirmed before the closing date, and will be published on this page.

6.5 Winner notification Winners will be contacted using the details provided at entry. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within [30 days] of being notified, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner at random from the remaining eligible entries.

6.6 General

Magic League Ltd's decision on all matters relating to the draws is final.
We reserve the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet these eligibility requirements, or to amend, suspend or cancel a draw where circumstances beyond our reasonable control make this necessary.
Prizes are not transferable and no cash alternative will be offered unless stated otherwise.
These draws are free prize draws and are not open to the public as a lottery; no payment or purchase is required to enter or to be eligible to win.

This website and its content, including the Health Check, are provided "as is." While we take care to provide useful and accurate guidance, we make no warranties about the completeness, accuracy or suitability of the information for your specific circumstances. You should use your own judgement, and seek professional advice where appropriate, before making operational, legal, financial or safeguarding decisions for your league.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Magic League Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, the Health Check, or participation in any prize draw. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Our website may link to third-party websites, including Magic Sports or other partners. We are not responsible for the content or practices of external websites.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the website after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
